Moksha is an Indian performing arts organisation based in UK. It hopes to perform and attract wider audiences and communities to Indian music, dance and culture. Since its launch in 2006, Moksha has gone from strength to strength with numerous highly acclaimed performances throughout UK and Europe. The organisation is also a platform for performers based in UK and it is led by Rishi Banerjee and his mother Ballari Banerjee.

Rishi Banerjee was born in Manchester and has been singing with his mother since the age of three. He was also influenced by Dr. Hiten Misra who encouraged him from an early age.

As Rishi grew, he developed a keen interest in Rabindrasangeet. Rishi has now had the honour of being guided by one of Kolkata's exponents of Rabindrasangeet Pramita Mallick. She has supported and advised Rishi regularly in this field...
