This Midday Mantra Special will celebrate the poet, writer, playwright, and composer Rabindranath Tagore.

Expect solo dance performances from Koel Ghosh, and a special production titled ‘Sonata of Soul: Tagore and Twilight’ by Ahmed Kaysher, featuring music, poetry, and dance.

We will be joined by Vocalist Rishi Banerjee, looking at Tagore in today’s world through his songs and writings, and for the finale, enjoy music from Birmingham’s own Roji Sarker and her ladies group celebrating the indomitable spirit of Tagore and his songs.
